gages is dropping

When I put my key in before I started up the gauges does not move and when I started it cuts off and when I finally have it started the gauges will start dropping one by one what should I do or what should I look for is it something I can do myself"

check battery condition including load test then check battery to body ground and dash to gauge panel ground.
