Shut off while driving and my lights have steadily stopped working?

I'm wondering if I take out the fuse with 19 on it will my car run better because it has shut off on me while driving and my lights have steadily stopped working like the car?

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand. Do you mean the headlamps slowly get dimmer and eventually turn off?

If that is what is happening and the engine is shutting off, it sounds like the alternator isn't charging. Do me a favor. Follow the directions in this link and let me know the results:
