Fuse pops

Turn the key to on and all the lights in the dash comes on. Turn the key to crank the engine and pops the fuse marked STR. No other noise not even from the solenoid

you would need to check the wiring for the starter system. remove the purple wire from the solenoid and see if the fuse still blows. if it does, then you will need to check the neutral safety switch. if it still blows, it could be the ignition switch

...would it possibly also mean the starter is locked up? But thank you for your answer, much appreciated. I will start with checking wires like you said. I also did think about the neutral safety switch...so thank you.

Hello, I checked all the wires, their good. I found the purple wire terminal on the solenoid was loose. With the key on and with a test light I managed to move that terminal and got a hot connection, Bad solenoid...Thanks for your suggestions...and Happy New Year????
