I'm having to unlatch the fuse box over the battery and push it down and latch it back to get it to start.

Hi,
That is a new one for me. Did you check to make sure the fuse or starter relay is fully installed, the pins are not loose where it connects, and there isn't a corrosion issue? (See pic below)
Open the box and remove the relay and fuse to see if there are any issues that could be causing this.
