Why is the engine 1 fuse blowing when key is turned to the on position?

When I turn key to the on position it blows the engine 1 fuse in the driver side panel fuse box. How do I go about fixing it?

Hi,

That specific fuse receives power when the key is turned on. It powers a few different things, any of which can be causing the problem.

If you look at the schematics below, the first two pics show the fuse and what it powers. We need to narrow things down. I want you to remove the IGN 1 relay and see if the fuse blows. See pic 3 for relay location in the underhood fuse box. If it does, the problem is before that location.
