The car sat for 3 years; the fuel was nasty. i dropped the tank and cleaned it out. when i put the tank back on i am not sure i put the 3 vacuum lines on in the right place, gas was going into the Vacuum Caister up on the fire wall. so, i changed the vacuum lines around the tank, now it floods out and other times it acts like it is starving for gas. Help please.

Hi,

Wow, you shouldn't be filling the charcoal canister with fuel. I'm not sure what is happening at this point.

Do me a favor. This model year offered either fuel injection or a carburetor. (See pic below) I need to know which one you have. The vacuum schematics are very different.

Let me know.

Take care,

joe
