Hello,

I have included for you in the diagrams down below a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) i came across while doing some research for your vehicle. It is a recall notice to have your fuel filler neck replaced free of charge by The Ford Motor Company. All you need to do is call your local dealership, give them your particulars, and go have it fixed. Please let us know how it goes, we are interested to hear about it.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes. The filler neck goes into the tank. It is like a tube that the gas goes down to get into the tank. There is usually a foam rubber grommet that fits around the hole in the gas tank and the neck goes through that acts as a gasket. If your vehicle is included in this recall, the dealership will replace it for free. The only way to find out is to call your local dealership and tell them what is going on and give them your vehicle's Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

Thanks,
Alex
