If you guys can provide me with the diagram for the fuel system. I installed a new fuel pump, and I checked it twice. I have a vapor lock, can only put a few gallons in the tank then fills up at the filler neck. Which hose is the return hose that might be bent. Also, the gas gauge doesn’t change since I replaced the fuel pump.

It sounds like the fuel pump is installed incorrectly. Also please check the filler tube to make sure there are no obstructions. Here is the correct way to remove the fuel tank and install the fuel pump which looks like it has EVAP tubes connected to it. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Can I ask which brand it is? Sometimes they will have design updates which can cause the pump to look a little bit different.

Okay, did you get the tank fill issue solved? Also does the engine start up and run?

The engine starts up and runs. I just have to check the return vent hose to see if it was bent or blocked. I wonder if the short I have with the grounds has anything to do with the fuel sending gauge. Or if it's in the tank incorrectly? I had checked it twice. But I may have the floater wrong possibly?
