I have the PZEV with code 917 version 2006 Mercedes-Benz e350 and I would like to know what the purpose of each fuel line attached to the fuel filter does. I would like them each identified and explained consecutively with a diagram/s if possible.

Hello,

Here are all of the fuel system descriptions and diagrams I could find on your car. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers, Ken

What database was did you use. I went to the dealership and even they, were lost. Their system could not pull up anything for the PZEV blueprint.

Hello,

That is very helpful. My case is that fuel smell then later fuel pump stopped working. My question please is the fuel sending unit with integrated fuel pressure sensor the same for PZEV and non-PZEV tank?
Thank you

Here is what is said about the problem:

In the 2006 Mercedes-Benz E350, the fuel sending unit with an integrated fuel pressure sensor may not be the same for PZEV (Partial Zero Emission Vehicle) and non-PZEV tanks. The PZEV designation is typically used to indicate vehicles that meet stricter emissions standards. These vehicles often have additional emissions control components and systems compared to non-PZEV vehicles.

To ensure the correct fuel sending unit with an integrated fuel pressure sensor for your specific vehicle, it is recommended to consult the vehicle's manual, contact a Mercedes-Benz dealership, or reach out to a trusted parts supplier who can verify the compatibility based on your vehicle's VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).
