my car will turn over but wont start. didn’t hear the fuel pump. checked the relay and fuse and it’s good. it’s getting 12volts to the pump. Assembly replace with a new pump and it’s still not working. have no question on what it could be.

Hi,

If you have power to the pump and it doesn't engage, either you got another bad pump or there is no ground to complete the circuit.

Make sure none of the connections in the plug are damaged or corroded. If they look good, you need to check the ground to make sure it isn't damaged or corroded.

I attached a portion of the wiring schematic below which shows ground location. Take a look at it and check.

Let me know what you find.
