It runs rough, with emphasis on it sputters and shimmies at different speeds?

When you turn on the over drive it stops, when it starts again turn ir (od) off it mellows out. Key here i t's not doing it all the time. I've replaced both o2 sensors, wires plugs, CPV valve even the u joints on the drive shaft. Thinking about replacing the fuel pump next??? Help it's our only ride. Thank you, Rip

Hi,

When you turn the OD on or off, it changes the load on the engine. The change in engine RPMs can be the cause for the change in how it runs and feels. By chance, is the check engine light staying on while the engine is running?

If it is, scan the computer to see if there are useful diagnostic trouble codes stored. If you don't have a scan tool, most parts stores will do it free of charge.
