Changed out fuel pump and filter, but car will not start or is not getting gas to engine. Trying to do a reset on the fuel line. But do not know where the reset switch button is. Anything helps.

Good morning.

It is located in the trunk on the left side. It should be identified by a label thatis says fuel shut off switch. See if the button pushes down.

Roy

Warning: Do not reset the inertia switch button if you see or smell fuel.

1. Turn ignition switch to off.

2. Check for leaking fuel in the engine compartment, fuel lines and fuel tank.

3. If no fuel is apparent, reset the Inertia Fuel Shutoff (IFS) switch by pushing the reset button on top of switch.

4. Turn ignition switch to start for a few seconds, then to off.

5. Again, check for leaking fuel.

I seen that but is it supposed to be push in all the way already? Because I do not think it is working! So could that be the problem why my car is not getting any fuel?

No, it will pop up in the air if it is open. Just push it down and it is closed. It will not bottom out.

Test for voltage on each side when you turn the key on. You will need a second person to help you as it will only show voltage for two seconds. It will show full voltage while cranking.

Do this test first.
