Hello, I have the car listed above Ex, and for the last couple of days I’ve been trying to locate the fuel pump relay/ wire harness. I believe that I found it behind the passenger glove compartment but I’m not quite sure which relay is the fuel one. I want to install a shut off switch but I’m not quite sure where the harness is, and I don’t want to splice the wrong wire. If anyone can help with this, It would greatly appreciate.

Hi,

The PGM-FI relay consists of two separate relays. PGM-FI main relay 1 is energized whenever the ignition switch is on (II) which supplies battery voltage to ECM/PCM, power to the injectors, and power for PGM-FI main relay 2. PGM-FI main relay 2 is energized to supply power to the fuel pump for 2 seconds when the ignition switch is turned on (II), and when the engine is running.

If you look below, it shows the locations.

Let me know if this helps.

Take care,

joe
