Does this pickup have a fuel pump relay? I put a new fuel pump in it and cannot find a fuel pump relay. I get power to the EFI but not to the fuel pump.

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

What you are looking for is not called a fuel pump relay, but rather, circuit opening relay. The Circuit Opening Relay provides power to the fuel pump. The Circuit Opening Relay consists of a single set of contacts controlled by two separate coils. One coil is energized when the key is turned to the start position. The relay contacts close and power is supplied to the fuel pump for starting. Once the Engine Control Module (ECM) begins to receive a signal from volume airflow sensor, it grounds the other coil which continues to hold the contacts closed after the key is released to the run position.

The relay is located on the passenger side kick panel, right above the ECM. I attached a picture for you to see.

Let me know if this is what you needed or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
