I have the vehicle listed above that was running fine then stopped getting fuel. The fuel pump works if I hook it straight to the battery. I tried finding the relay behind the driver side kick panel but I'm not finding it. There is a pressure switch and a big black box but neither has the right part number. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Some of these came with fuel injection, and others had carburetors. However, I believe the relay is the same for both.

I went with the fuel injection model. The reason you are having trouble finding it is because they call it a circuit open relay. It is behind the left kick panel. I attached a couple of pics below to help you locate it.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

joe

The diagram you posted shows 3 things behind the kick panel. My truck only has 2 things, one being the RFW control unit, and the other is a pressure sensor.

Hi Mike, does your vehicle have a carburetor or is it fuel injected? Also, check to see if there is a production date either under the hood or on the door frame on the driver's side. It may be a late or early production vehicle and the company used a different setup.

Also, let me know if you can locate the circuit open relay anywhere else. Again, it could be year related.

Let me know

Joe
