Van no longer starts. I do not hear the fuel pump turn on when I turn the key the the on ignition position. I am used to hearing the pump come on for a few seconds. The ADS relay is clicking with key forward and I am getting power to the fuel pump relay. I want to test for power further down the line at the fuel pump wires. Both pulse and run wires. I am not able to get under the van due to health reasons to test the wires at the pump. Can you tell me the color of both fuel pump wires also including ground if there is a ground wire. So all three wires. I think they run under the carpet on the driver side as I see a flock of wires coming from the front to the back. Please help thank you.

GM fuel pumps almost always start up, then fail while you are driving, leaving you sitting on the side of the road. Chrysler fuel pumps almost always fail to start up, leaving you sitting in the parking lot or your driveway. A very common temporary fix is to push a youngster under the van and have him bang on the bottom of the gas tank while youare cranking the engine. The pumps typically develop worn brushes in the motor, and banging on the tank jars the motor just enough to get it to start running. Once running, it will continue to run until you stop the engine, and may start up okay for weeks or months before this happens again.

The fuel pump 12 volt feed wire is dark green / white. The ground wire is black.
