I put in a new tank and fuel pump assembly well as a fuel filter.
I even replaced the fuel pump relay.
put in the old gas and put sea foam gas treatment in the tank.
I still cannot get it to start.

Try another key if you have one it may be security messing up. Not a new one as they have to be programmed to your truck. Then see if you have fuel pressure 60-66 psi and spark or spray choke cleaner down tbi if it starts then that is probably the reason. And Yes you have anti theft on your vehicle.

I already put some gas in the throttle body. And covered with rag as well. No go.
I have no way of checking the psi either. And I only have one key.

Auto parts rent gauge, but if gas in tbi did not work then there is probably no spark. But it still could be security sytsem doing it.

I pulled the security system fuse and it still did not start.
Do you think it could be the spark plugs?

Okay, I pulled the old spark plugs and they were so burnt and worn I do not see how they were working.
I put all new spark plugs into and it still did not not start

It may be the security system if your key does not work a mechanic will have to scan for codes to see what it is as auto parts scanners can only check engine/transmission things not security.

The fuel pump is turning on but there is no fuel getting to the injectors.
I checked the lines and there is zero presser in the fuel lines.
It is getting a spark.
So I am pretty sure it is the fuel pressure regulator.
I am going to put it in in a couple days and I will get back to you if it worked or not. But I think that is the problem.

If the pump is turning on and zero pressure, was it installed correctly and not upside down? Also check for blocked filter or lines.

Did the new pump have a new harness piece with it? Some these had this problem and had to have the harness replaced. I will leave this question open and send to another person.

Hi Dylan,

First thing you want to do is plug a plug after cranking it over to see if there is fuel on the plug, if not then its a fuel problem, if so then its a ignition problem. Here are some guides that will help you check for both.

and

Let us know what you find.
