I have already had my car repaired but need advice on what was done. I had a hesitation and no acceleration above 3,000 RPM's in my car SS model. First was told that I needed catalytic converter and oxygen sensors, still same issue. Then had shop tell me that I needed to replace the coil packs because of random misfire and still the same issue. Then they figure out I had a fuel pump issue but needed to replace the coil packs as they had been damaged by the fuel pump issue. Could the fuel pump cause any issues that would require the coil packs to need replacement or poor diagnosis and Tech covering himself?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros. Com.
I don't know the entire story, but low fuel pressure will not damage the coils.
