Replaced the fuel pump in my truck now it doesn't seem to be getting power. Starts but shuts off. Scanning says maybe the fuel pump control module replaced that and still not getting power fuel pump doesn't kick on when key is in the on position.

Hi,

If possible, could you let me know the code you are getting?

As far as the fuel pressure control module, FPCM, it should set a code if bad. That's why I'm asking,

I am going to provide the diagnostics for the FPCM for your review. If the code you are getting isn't indicated in the diagnostics, let me know what it is.

The diagnostics are attached below.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

No problem whatsoever. I attached the diagnostics for the 2007 below. Some of the things are the same.

Let me know if this helps. Also, if you could provide the code or codes that you got, let me know them as well.

Take care,

Joe

I got a P069E, P025A, Fuel Pump Control module said to check the wiring to the module before ordering it. I tested the wires not getting anything to the hot or control wires on the FPCM. Just checked fuel pump pressure don't hear it but Just checked it with a gauge it works getting 54 PSI.

Hi,

The first thing to check if there is no power to the module is the fuel system control module fuse. See pic 1.

If you look at pic 2, it shows the underhood fuse box. I highlighted fuse 21. In addition to checking the fuse, make sure there is power to and from it. Here is a link explaining how it's done:

Let me know what you find.

Take care,

Joe
