I bought a fuel pump like five months ago it, started every time I moved it but one week ago it was running and stopped working. Then I tried to start it with no luck, i put a little gas in TBI and started but then it shut off. I checked the power, put a light test on connector and looked like it reached the pump when I tried to start the when the tester is on.

Hi,

If you have power to the pump and it doesn't run, either the pump is bad or there is no ground to complete the circuit.

I attached a pic below of the wiring schematic for the fuel pump. Note there are two wires at the pump motor. If you have power to one, check the other for continuity to ground.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
