Hi,
If you aren't hearing the pump, it may not be getting power, or the new one could be faulty. So, the first thing I suggest is to check the fuel pressure to see if there is any.

You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend one to you.
If the pump isn't turning on, I need you to next check fuse 17 in the under-hood power distribution module. If that is good, switch the fuel pump relay with a different one having the same part number to see if that makes a difference.
Note: Fuse 17 should have power at all times regardless of the ignition key position. Confirm there is power.
