Hi, I am trying to run a fuel pressure check but I'm not sure where to hook the gauge. There are so many port on the fuel rail, that I’m not sure what’s in and what’s out. From the look at the gauge, I rented from AutoZone I must have my own hoses to connect from the tee (inlet and outlet). Is this correct? Am which ports do I use?

Hi,

On this vehicle, there isn't a Schrader valve on the fuel rail. You need to disconnect the fuel inlet at the rail and the tester goes between the supply (fuel tank) and the rail.

I attached directions below. Note that the fuel pressure can be identified by using a scan tool on this vehicle.

Let me know if this helps.

Joe

See pics below. Note that the tester used on the directions is Chrysler part 8978A. You should be able to get something from a parts store that they rent to use that will work. The last pic is the tester Chrysler indicates.
