How to change a mechanical fuel pump to an electric fuel pump?

I am having a problem. I want to change mechanical fuel pump to a electric one and can't figure it out.

Hi,

Have you already made the purchase of the electric pump? It is possible to do, but the one danger is if you are in an accident, the pump will continue running simply because there is no auto shut down on this vehicle. That could be dangerous. Also, you will need to get a very low-pressure pump. If you look at the attached pic, I highlighted the pressure requirements.

What is happening with the mechanical pump? Maybe it's an easy fix.
