The truck is a 1984 but the motor may be newer. Truck has been parked for over a decade. Single tank. Don't have any extra cash to sink into this truck so bypassed all relays and/or fuses so pump runs continuously instead of shutting down when ignition is off or truck cranks. At the bleed off valve nothing but air, after pump has run for over 20 minutes. There are no pinched lines, grounds all connected properly nothing should be preventing fuel to the injectors we think. What have we overlooked?
Thanks in advance,
Natasha

After 10 years the gas is no good and turned into gunk, the fuel tank must be removed and cleaned out. I would install a new pump as well. Here is a generic guide to help you with the instructions in the images below to show you how on your truck:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-replace-an-electric-fuel-pump

REMOVAL and INSTALLATION

NOTE: Make sure the fuel tank is properly supported during removal and installation procedures.

1. Drain fuel from fuel tank.

2. Loosen fill pipe clamp.

3. Remove bolts securing shield and bracket assembly to frame and remove assembly from vehicle.

4. Remove fuel tank filler pipe from vehicle.

5. Support fuel tank.

6. Remove bolts and nuts from rear fuel tank support strap and remove rear fuel tank support strap.

7. Remove bolt and nut from front fuel tank support strap and remove support strap.

8. Lower fuel tank.

9. Remove fuel feed hose at sender push connector.

10. Remove fuel return hose at sender unit push connector.

11. Disconnect sender and fuel pump electrical connector.

12. Remove fuel vapor hose from fuel vapor valve.

13. Lower fuel tank from vehicle.

14. For installation, follow removal procedures in reverse order.

- Tighten U-lock nuts securing front and rear fuel tank support straps to 37-50 Nm (28-36 ft lb).

Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

Dropped the tank almost 3 days ago, replaced the pump then. Cleaned the inside of the tank then. All this was done before I asked anyone for help.

Good job, will the engine run on starting fluid? Let's check to see if the fuel injectors are getting a signal and power.

This guide can help you with the test:

Please go over this guide and report back.
