Possibly under back seat? Fuel test pressure should be between 45# to 50#.

Hello, I'm Danny.

Yes, you are correct on both. Here is a tutorial for you to view on how to test fuel pressure on your vehicle:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

I've looked on my resources and found that you might have 2 different locations to tap into the banjo fitting on the fuel rail and or the fuel filter in case your car wasn't equipped with a schrader valve. Yes, your 2004 Avalon requires 44-50 PSI. fuel pressure to function normally. You will possibly have to use a "T' fitting to tap into the fuel pump assembly under the rear seat cushion which has an access panel to tie inline to pressure test or the fuel filter lines.. Most auto parts stores have a tool loaner program and can rent you a fuel pressure tester. I've attached pictures below of where the fuel rail banjo is located and circled in red. I've also attached pictures below of where the access panel of the fuel pump is located , and fuel filter which is located on the firewall under hood, Including the removal and replacement steps as well. Let us know if you have any further questions on this issue or need any further diagrams. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.
