Fuel pressure regulator location

Where is the fuel pressure regulator located on the vehicle listed above Bronco 2?

Good morning,

The fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel rail for the fuel injectors.

Due to the age, there are not any pictures of the regulator. I did attache the picture of the new one for you.

Why are you replacing this part?

1. Remove vacuum line at pressure regulator, then the regulator housing attaching screws.
2. Remove pressure regulator assembly, gasket and O-ring.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Lubricate fuel pressure regulator O-ring with suitable oil before installation.
b. Torque regulator housing attaching screws to 27 - 40 inch lbs. on 4-140, V6-183, 6-300 and V8-302 engines, or 71 - 102 inch lbs. on V6-177 engine.
