Where is the fuel pressure regulator located?

I would like to know where is the fuel pressure regulator location. Is it somewhere on the engine, near fuel tank or with in fuel pump? Please add a diagram of it.

Good morning,

The regulator is in the pump itself in the fuel tank.

The tank needs to be dropped in order to access the pump. The entire fuel pump module will need to be replaced.

Thanks for the answer that I'm looking for. However, I do have the same question for a 1995-96 Ford Explorer engine. The previous owner dropped it in the 2005 rolling chassis and body but I don't know where 95-96 fuel pressure regulator is located. Any ideas on where it is? Please include the diagram. It is useful to me.

I attached the procedure for this and some pictures below for you to review.

It is located on the fuel rail for the injectors.

Do you have a diagram of oil pressure sensor on 1995 Ford Explorer engine vs 1996 Ford Explorer engine? I know that it's on driver side of the engine. I'm trying to figure out which one it is. Thanks.

This is not the diagram of oil pressure sensor on 96 Ford Explorer 4.0L. It's all about the dashboard with wire diagram. I need a diagram of oil pressure sensor on 96 Ford Explorer engine 4.0L 4x2 drive.
