I use a Star pressure gauge with an adapter to connect to my fuel line with no problem. On the 2003 Ford Taurus, I don't see any connection for a fuel pressure gauge. There is a chrome bolt on the end of the rails? I am trying to identify the type of adapter that I can install in place of the bolt to connect my fuel gauge. Or is there a connector some were other than the fuel rails for me to check the fuel pressure?

Sincerely, Paul

Hello,

There is a valve in the fuel rail called a schrader valve. This is the valve to screw your fuel pressure gauge into if the coupling is a female one, or it can be unscrewed and the fuel pressure gauge screwed in place there if it is a threaded male coupler. You can also get brass connectors at your local hardware store for different mating situations. Please keep us informed as to how everything turns out.

Thanks,
Alex
