Hi,
A loss of power can be caused by several different things. First, if the fuel pressure is out of specification, it can cause it. Also, a partially plugged catalytic converter can cause it. Even things like a stuck brake can cause it.
So, is the check engine light on? If it is, scan the computer. Most parts stores will do it free of charge.
Also, here are two links that explain how to check fuel pressure and symptoms related to a plugged catalytic converter. Let me know if you are comfortable performing the pressure test. You will need a fuel pressure gauge, but most parts stores will lend you one.
As far as the converter link, let me know if anything mirrors what you are experiencing.

Also, let me know if any other symptoms you are experiencing that may be relevant.
Take care,
Joe
