I'm going to do a fuel press check on my ranger. The manual reads that in order for the pressure to be relieved, I have to unplug the fuel pump switch. According to the manual, the switch is "directly behind the glove compartment". Can't find it. Do you guys have an idea of the location and what does it look like? Thanks a lot for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

The inertia or fuel pump cut off switch is located on the passenger's side under the carpet. check out the image below to show you where it is. This guide can help you with the fuel pressure test:

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

HI, Ken. First of all, thanks for such a fast response, outstanding. Secondly, I noticed that the diagram you sent is for a v-6 3.0L. Mine is a 4 cylinder 2.3L. Are the switches mounted in the same place regardless of engine size?
Again, thanks for the fast response. You guys are awesome!
