Fuel leak at pump

The fuel pump is located in fuel tank. Person who worked on the van bypassed the fuel pump with another fuel pump but it's still leaking at fuel pump that has been replaced. I rather do this correctly. If there's another way or to access the fuel pump in the tank? By the inside of the van? I figured it's either the fuel strainer or the fuel injectors are clogged. Would that cause the fuel pump to leak? I also don't know if the checked the fuel pressure. Just because they can hear the fuel pump kick on doesn't mean it has the right pressure.

Hello,

On this vehicle in order to access the fuel pump, you will first have to remove the fuel tank. Unfortunately, there is no access port from inside the vehicle.

And yes, you are correct, just because the pump is turning on does not mean it will provide adequate pressure. It can have restrictions that is not letting proper fuel flow.
So, testing the fuel pressure is a good first step.
This vehicle should have 58 PSI (+/- 5 PSI) of fuel pressure with the key to the on position (engine off).
