It wasn’t working before so that’s why I thought changing the fuel pump would work but I’m still running into issues of the gauge not working. Nothing was bent during the installation of the pump. Would this be a sending unit issue or a faulty fuel pump?

We need to start with checking for codes to find out if we have any circuit codes coming from the sender to the cluster. If we do, then that will help figure this out.

If we have no codes, then more than likely we have a cluster issue if the sensor is new. However, we need to start with checking the voltage coming from the sender to the cluster and find out if the cluster is receiving the signal.

Basically, this is a pretty simple circuit so we need to check this info first in order to determine best course of action.

Let me know what questions you have. Thanks
