Fuel gauge issues

Fuel level gauge is not working but the digital part that shows miles until empty seems to be working. My question is, if the float inside the tank is not working would the digital one be somewhat accurate?

It sounds like you have a fuel gauge that is not working right. But to be sure please check out the wiring diagrams below and please follow this guide to check the wiring.
