Fuel filter problem

When I start the car in cooler temperatures it will run fine, but when it gets heated up and going the accelerator will be to the floor but the rpm wont go above 4.

Good morning,

It is possible but before assuming anything, I would check the fuel pressure to be sure it is not the fuel pump.

The filter is part of the fuel pump assembly. It is not a separate unit as in other cars.
