Hey, I'm looking for the fuel filter in my vehicle listed above.
I just replaced my fuel pump and strainer and would like to replace the filter as well. I noticed on the fuel pump assembly next to the pump there is something else that looks like a filter (not the strainer). Is that the filter or is there another one somewhere else? Also, I'm getting some blue smoke in the morning:( Where do I start with that?
The car drives well, and I want it to last forever!
Thx

Hi,

The fuel filter is a part of the fuel pump assembly, located inside the fuel tank. If you have the fuel pump removed, now is the time to replace it. See pic below.

As far as the blue smoke goes, that can be caused by a few things. How much do you see, how long does it last, and is it consistent?

Let me know,

Joe

Thanks for the response! I keep on reading about an in-line fuel filter somewhere else. About the blue smoke, it only happens in the mornings or after sitting for some time. It lasts 20-30 seconds but it's a nice amount. Other than that, the car is great!
