Fuel filter leaking gas

Engine is a V8.
It was leaking gas from the filter, and I replaced it and it will start but turns off right away. what should I do?

Hi,

Has the leak been repaired? Also, is the check engine light staying on when the engine starts? Are you able to keep the engine running if you press the accelerator?

If the check engine light is staying on, I recommend scanning the computer to see if there are diagnostic trouble codes that may point us in a specific direction. Here is a quick video showing how it is done:
