Clogged and successfully replaced. Now backfires. Stuck on side of road. What is most likely cause and easiest fix?

Can you hear the fuel pump run with the key on?

When you crank it, does the tachometer move up a little showing RPM? That will tell me if the crank sensor is sending a signal.
