Engine cranks but does not start, could it be the fuel filter?

It seems like my truck isn't getting fuel, it will turn over but not start. Upon manually putting additive in carburetor, it will verify start.

Hi,

When you get it to start, will it continue to run, or does it stall after a few seconds? If it continues running, there is a good chance it isn't the fuel filter, so let me know.

As far as the filter, it is located on the frame rail, driver's side. I attached the directions for removal and replacement specific to your vehicle below.
