Seems like it’s starving for gas, engine shuts off after idling for about 10 minutes. Could it be a possible fuel filter issue?

Hi,

Does it start right back up for you? Also, yes it could be a fuel-related issue or an ignition problem.

If it doesn't start right back up, it could be a faulty crankshaft position sensor. When they begin to fail, heat has an adverse effect on them. Once they cool, the engine will start. That's why I asked if it starts right back up.

I am including two links. The first one explains how to test fuel pressure and the second explains the symptoms of a faulty crankshaft sensor. Take a look through the sensor symptoms. If they don't mirror what you experience, then check the pressure.

Let me know your thoughts or if you have any questions.

Take care,

Joe
