Where is the fuel filter located on a 98 Bonneville, and do I need to shut off the fuel pressure fuse, and if so, where is it located?

It would be good to drain the fuel pressure before, you can start the car then pull the fuel pump fuse.

The fuel filter should be about midway from tank to the engine, follow the fuel llines.

Yes it does. I would change it every 30-35,000 miles.

There is a plastic disconnect at one side. and threads at the other. I'm not sure how much of a pita is without a lift, but you'll need a little room to work.

It may be right directly behind the gas tank. Most vehicles have them there. If not look all around the tank.

I know on my Bonneville it is on the passenger side in front of the rear tire. Good luck!
