Fuel filter

Does my car have a fuel filter? I have visited several Cadillac forums and I have gotten many different answers.

My car has acceleration hesitation especially after i make a turn.

It has a filter inside the pump module in the tank. It also has dual fuel pick-up assemblies and it is possible the line that connects them inside the tank has an issue.

Good information, Thanks! Do you think it would be beneficial to have the fuel injector cleaned before replacing the pump module? I know it would not hurt to have it done but would it help?

I doubt it would help. What I would do is put a scan tool on it and record what it does while you drive and turn. That would point you toward an issue. It could be transmission related.
