Where is the fuel filter located and can I just change it without changing fuel pump?

Your filter is part of the fuel pump assembly in the tank. You do not need to change this unless you have to remove the pump for another reason.

I attached some info that explains this. Let me now if you have other questions. Thanks

Whenever I drive my car and as I have my foot on the gas the car will stall and not do anything a couple of times and then will start going. Is this a fuel problem or a transmission problem. Whenever it does do it the rpm will go to about 2 but know higher?

This could be a fuel issue. It is most likely not a transmission issue. However, we need to test the fuel pressure to try and confirm this.

Once we are able to test the fuel pressure we need to start a new post with this specific issue. The reason is, others that have this issue will not find it under a post of a fuel filter. We want to not only assist those that ask questions but make it easy for those that have similar issues to find what fixed your issue. Here is a link to a new question. Let's test the fuel pressure and post the results on a new question and we will get back to you. Thanks
