They said I need new front brakes

I had my transmission replaced and they said I need new front brakes as well, I need to save money now and want to do them myself can you help me?

Hi,

Replacing front brakes and rotors really isn't too hard of a job. You can expect them to last approximately 25,000 miles, but that varies based on driving habits and terrain.
