Hi,
I see what you are referring to. What I suggest is this. Since the pressure drops when the engine is warm, compare the voltage at the pump under cold conditions and then again when it is warm. Just be careful not to cause any sparks.
Let me know if there is a difference. Other than trying this, we need to get a fuel pressure gauge. Most parts stores will lend one to you.
Also, let me know if there was no change when you replaced the pump. In other words, is it doing the same thing as before?
One other thought. Switch the fuel pump relay with a different one in the box having the same part number. See if that changes things at all.
