Why is this car consuming a lot of fuel?

Hello, my car consumes a lot of fuel, about 22 MPG.
I have changed the spark plugs and the air filter but still the something, I have taken it to a mechanic master and he checked it by a computer but nothing important was shown.

I have seen the EVAP purge solenoid stick open and cause the fuel to be ingested into the engine. Here is the location of the valve, I would remove it and see if you can blow through it, if so, the valve is bad and needs to be replaced.
