the engine is 1.6 and it has been consuming fuel so much and the carburetor has been changed, but the problem still persist.

Check for black fouled spark plugs, if one is wet there will be a problem in that cylinder, if all are wet and fouled the carby will be flooding, probably a problem with the needle and seat, this controls the amount of fuel entering the carby.
