Before I ask my questions. A little overview. I bought the vehicle listed above sr5 v6, 9 years ago, today 9-09-2015. It had about 110,000 on it. Fast forward to today. 9-9-2024. It now has 237,121 on it. The front struts/shocks are at least 9 years old and good chance older than that. I found out a week ago the rack and pinion needs to be replaced on it. Shocks are good. The struts have been for about a year leaking a little bit and still about the same today. In your view if you were me would you replace the struts or not? My thinking if I say still have the 4runner say well over a year from now. Sooner or later, they will have to be replaced. What would your view on this be?

Yep, I would replace the front struts with over 110,000 on them and they are leaking. Here is the correct way to replace them, also make sure you get a high-quality part because there are plenty of cheap ones that fail prematurely. I would get the replacements with the coil spring it is easier and much safer. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
