Can I replace shock absorber in Celica GTS with the one from GT? I have heard that the coil in GTS is more rigid. Are there other differences?

Hi,

I looked up the part numbers between the GT and the GTS. I attached a picture below indicating the numbers. Note that they are different. Because of that, I can't recommend interchanging them. I hope you understand.

Let me know if you have other questions or need help.

Take care,
Joe

Thank you for your quick answer.
I noticed that GTS shocks are $136.17 (cheaper than GT). Is it for the complete coil and shock absorber? Where can I order it?

Hi:
That is the shock portion. The price is based on the manufacturer's suggested retail price. To get that part, you need to contact a dealer because it is an OEM part. You can get replacement parts aftermarket for less. Actually, I suspect you can find the entire assembly for less through certain online parts stores such as rockauto. It's just a thought.

Let me know if I can help.

Take care,
Joe
