When driving down the road all of a sudden, my car made a sound like a flat tire but then I could not drive, and my right front tire wouldn't turn and something smelled burn.

Hi,

Have you checked the brakes on that wheel? It could have overheated causing it to freeze up. By chance, was there any grinding noises or squealing when applying the brakes prior to this happening?

I know there was a service bulletin related to this vehicle for brake pad/rotor issues. However, since you have 95,000 on the vehicle, I can't imagine they are original.

Do me a favor. Look between the spokes on the wheel at the brake rotor. See if there is evidence of something cutting into the surface. Also, let me know if the wheel moved after it cooled off.

I attached two pics below. The first is simply showing what the brake rotor will look like. In the second pic, I circled a brake caliper. That is where the brake pads are located. See if you can tell if the pads are worn.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
