I borrowed a big torque wrench from AutoZone to get one off of my truck recently. It was 1/2" drive and about three feet long. You can also get a breaker bar from the local tool place (maybe Sears or Northern Tools). I combined the wrench with the better part of my 220 pounds of body weight and got it going. It also would not hurt you to spray it down with penetrating oil (WD-40 or PB's blaster) and let it sit for a while.
